We apologise to those of you who were looking forward to this event. Please check back again in the future regarding Teachmedics courses.
The F1 Survival Course is designed to provide medical students with the tips and tricks that we learnt during our first foundation year.
Unlike other courses, the TeachMedics F1 Preparation Course has a proven track record since 2014 of delivering high-quality content. We have continuously updated the style and content of our talks year on year based on feedback received.
Our guidance covers all aspects of starting your new job, delivered in a tried and tested format. The course covers:
The unwell patient
Common F1 tasks
Talking to other specialities
Talking to patients and families
Preparing for further applications
Free lunch provided along with a high-quality, comprehensive handout
Wondering if this course is for you? We have selected a talented and approachable group of F1s from hospitals across the London deaneries to provide specific insights you won't get elsewhere. As an independent group, we tell it as it is.
Certificates of attendance and the opportunity to be a part of next years presenting team - of significant value for your CVs/portfolios - will be given to all attendees.
Spaces are limited to ensure a good ratio of faculty to delegates - a waiting list will be in operation for those who do not secure a ticket.
Look forward to seeing you there!
